 I see my life as an experiment. Accordingly, it is important for me to gain experience through curiosity, playfulness and challenge. Through art I bundle my impressions and transform them into my own language. Through art I can hold up a mirror to things. Through art I can go beyond the limits. Art connects.

The enthusiasm for art has accompanied me all my life, since I started painting at the age of 2. It is a fulfillment of joy for me. To blend colors with a red sable brush in order to create soft lines makes me feel peacefull.

In my series of Liquid Portraits I go to the flow of time. Everything is in constant motion. We can only bow to it and accept it. In the acceptance lies the beauty. We grow older, we change. Decisions shape us. We live and die and tell our own story. These portraits are meant to connect to the pleasure of the beginning. They bring us to other thoughts. Thoughts about our own sexuality. To put it bluntly, they are portraits that fetishize milk but from the concept of mother’s milk that gives life. Further thought of the sperm that fertilizes. They are images dedicated to human existence, capturing the essence of life. The moment of emergence, the culmination of a fusion through love symbolizing detachment of form in the recovery of a portrait. Life is funny and full of special moments that crown their moments surrounded by sadness. All this shows me a face. That is why it is also the most fascinating for me to paint portraits. It is my study and tribute to life.
